Demolition Has Begun
After months of planning, work has officially started at our future home on 500 Bellerive Blvd. Walls are coming down and the building is being transformed into a masjid our community will be proud of.
Alhamdulillah. We are thrilled to share that the demolition of our permanent home has officially begun. The team has been working hard to strip the interior down to its bones, removing existing walls, ceilings, and fixtures to make way for what will become a full masjid facility for the greater Lexington and Nicholasville community.
In these early photos and videos you can see the main hall cleared out, existing steel stud framing being exposed, and the building being gutted to prepare for a complete transformation. Every piece of work brings us one step closer to opening our doors for Salah, Jumu'ah, and community events.
We ask Allah ﷻ to bless this work, make it easy for the workers, and allow us to open these doors for His worship as soon as possible. May every dollar donated and every du'a made be accepted.
